We are delighted to have been chosen to design the Olympicopolis culture and education quarter with O’Donnell and Tuomey and Josep Camps/Olga Felip Arquitecturia. We have worked collaboratively as a team with Buro Happold, Gustafson Porter, Charcoal Blue and Gardiner and Theobald.
The site, at the gateway to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London includes new buildings for the Victoria and Albert Museum, Sadler’s Wells and the London College of Fashion, part of the University of the Arts London. The Smithsonian Institute too is in discussion to be part of the scheme and open its first permanent museum outside the United States.
Proposals will also provide 75,000sqm of residential space.
