New homes for a fast-growing city

The practice’s ongoing work at Trumpington Meadows, Cambridge, has reached an important milestone. Phase 9 of the project received reserved matters approval from Cambridge City Council in a unanimous decision from the committee last week. This newest addition will add 64 houses and 58 apartments to this ambitious housing scheme.

Allies and Morrison’s involvement in creating Trumpington Meadows has included masterplanning and architecture across a number of its phases. Sensitively designed, the architecture of these new homes is simple and well-considered, contextual yet contemporary. They will create a new neighbourhood for Cambridge, which will provide much needed housing for what is now one of Europe’s fastest growing cities.
