Allies and Morrison are holding a public exhibition displaying our proposals that will form the basis of a future planning application for one of our neighbours, 25 Lavington Street. Through the use of sketches, drawings and a physical model, the exhibition presents the key design proposals for the general public to review.

The latest project we have been involved with in our neighbourhood, this project will see a major new office building and a trio of linked residential buildings, add to energy of Bankside and Southwark. Amounting to over 250,000 sq ft of development, the buildings are organised in a ‘checkerboard’ configuration, framing a new public space on Lavington Street and a series of courtyard gardens. The public realm proposals will extend a pedestrian route that threads through Bankside and continues north of the River to St. Paul’s, and also aim to provide a future connection to the Low Line.

The project will complete the re-development of the area between Ewer Street and Great Suffolk Street, which also contains two previous buildings by the practice, including the adjacent Lavington Street Hotel, completing its transformation.

The exhibition is being held at the Citizen M Hotel on Lavington Street, London, in meeting room 4 on the first floor. It will be open to the public on 7 April 1pm to 8:30pm and 8 April 10am to 6pm.
