Completion has been achieved on the majority of apartments at our hollandgreen project, a key residential development by Chelsfield located on the site of the former Commonwealth Institute on Kensington High Street, London. Designed with OMA, three striking cubes with an external stone lattice grid provide 54 highly specified apartments. The buildings are set within landscaped gardens with communal facilities including a gym, spa and swimming pool and parking beneath.

The project has included the complex alteration and refurbishment of the existing Grade II* Listed former Commonwealth Institute Building, which will become the new home for the Design Museum later this year. Our work has required the design of an extensively modified structural frame with a new facade that meets the technical and operation requirements for the future museum yet upholds the distinct character and qualities of the revered 1960’s original building.
