ALLIES AND MORRISON HOST A DESIGN CHARETTE FOR ARCHITECT STUDENTS
Last week Allies and Morrison were host to a Design Charette for Architecture students from the University of Idaho and Anglia Ruskin University. Four teams of three to four people were given the brief to design a Serpentine Pavilion which responds to the challenges of climate change. Each group spent a day preparing their concepts in selected architecture firms across London, including Allies and Morrison, with mentors from each practice to guide them. The final results produced innovative, imaginative and individual pavilions, each of which were presented to an audience during the Design Charrette at Allies and Morrison.
After the presentations, the participants were given a talk on, and tour of, Allies and Morrison’s offices by Artur Carulla and Peter Lowe.
